Pilot Project #2 – JHI × CIMRO Mobile Clinic
Objective
Create a mobile medical capability that reaches populations with limited access to healthcare, providing general, paediatric and maternal consultations, a mobile pharmacy, psychosocial support and capacity building for local healthcare professionals.
Beneficiaries & planned capacity
Sizing assumption for the 12-month pilot: approximately 20 consultations per day over 220 operating days, or around 4,400 consultations. Depending on repeat visits, this would correspond to approximately 3,000 to 4,000 unique direct beneficiaries. These figures are planning targets and must be validated with CIMRO once routes, schedules, staffing and field protocols are defined.
Essential medicines
A dedicated CAD 15,000 budget line is created for essential medicines primarily for women and children. The exact formulary, quantities, prescribing rules, storage conditions and procurement must be validated by CIMRO and the competent medical authorities/professionals on the ground.
