Two pilot projects, two distinct purposes
JHI's initial phase is built around two clearly separate projects. Project #1 addresses immediate food and hygiene needs. Project #2 builds a sustainable healthcare access capability and is JHI's pivot project.
| Project | Content | Link |
|---|---|---|
| #1 – Food & Hygiene Assistance | 5,000 targeted women with children / household units; food kits, hygiene kits, essential support and logistics. Budget CAD 330,000. | See the project |
| #2 – JHI × CIMRO Mobile Clinic | General, paediatric and maternal consultations; mobile pharmacy; psychosocial support; capacity building for local professionals. Budget CAD 170,000. | See the project |
Evolution note: NES is JHI's starting point, not the limit of its action. Lessons learned from the pilot projects will inform their consolidation, adaptation or extension depending on results, funding, partnerships and access conditions.
